Membership Benefits

Approved Reflexology Practitioner & Reflexology Teacher
    ​
  • have access and the right to use the Association's professional logo.
  • the legal right to use the designation RABC Approved Reflexology Practitioner and Teacher.
  • Clients of RABC Approved Reflexology Practitioners may submit their session fee to their extended health care provider, when reflexology is included in their extend health plan.
  • a free website listing is available to all RABC Approved Reflexology Practitioners.
  • a free website listing is available to all RABC Reflexology Teachers providing RABC Approved Reflexology courses.
  • respect as a professional member of a respected profession.
  • guidelines for professional conduct and ethical practices.
  • access to Association brochures and marketing material.
  • a professionally designed Wall Certificate that is renewed every 3 years after successfully submitting, every 3 years, the required Continuing Education Credits.

  • all the rights and privileges of an RABC Member as per the RABC Constitution and Bylaws.​

Membership Categories for New Members

RABC Members must adhere to the RABC Constitution and Bylaws, Policies, Code of Ethics and Conduct, and pay the annual Membership Fee in January of each year. ​
  • To apply for a new membership, complete and email the NEW MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION (All Categories) and complete and email the required documents listed on that application, then pay the required Membership Fee (see Payment Details and Fee Amounts).
  • Carefully review the membership criteria listed below for your category before submitting your application and all the requested and required documentation, as per listed below.

Approved Reflexology Practitioner

  • a completed RABC membership Application;
  • a signed copy of the RABC's Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct;
  • a copy of the REFLEXOLOGY Certificate(s) indicating successful completion of
    course(s) that includes a minimum of 40 hours of classroom instruction, and 60
    hours of practicum;
  • a copy of the RABC PROFICIENCY EXAMINATIONS results or approved equivalent
    examinations, as per the RABC BOARD, with a minimum passing grade of 80% on
    the written exam and on the practical exam;
  • a completed RABC Website Directory Application (if you want to be listed on RABC website);
  • if you are already a reflexology practitioner who has met the standards of an RABC recognized Association, submit a copy of your Professional Reflexology Certificate.  The submission of the Professional Reflexology Certificate replaces the need to submit the REFLEXOLOGY Certificates(s) and RABC PROFICIENCY EXAMINATIONS results as stated in the third and forth points above.
  • an indication of agreement to collect and submit C.E. Credits as required - 30 Continuing Education Credits are required every 3 years to maintain "Approved Reflexology Status".  For more information on CE Credits see CE Credits webpage;
  • Has paid the RABC Membership dues.

Reflexology Teacher

  • a completed REFLEXOLOGY TEACHER RABC membership application;
  • RABC APPROVED REFLEXOLOGY PRACTITIONER status (as per listed above);
  • insurance coverage as per 3.3.8 of the RABC Constitution and Bylaws and including coverage for teaching;
  • anatomy/physiology training and/or knowledge that is separate from reflexology training courses with knowledge being defined as having or had professional training such as, but not limited to, nurse, naturopath, or massage therapist (provide documentation/certificate);
  • certificate of First Aid/CPR;
  • a copy of the REFLEXOLOGY course notes and charts that meet or exceed what is
    covered in the RABC PROFICIENCY EXAMINATION, unless the course is from an RABC RECOGNIZED REFLEXOLOGY INSTITUTION OR ASSOCIATION, then the course notes are not required to be submitted but it is the responsibility of that Teacher to ensure those course notes meet or exceed the RABC PROFICIENCY EXAMINATIONS;
  • reflexology course(s) teaching to total a minimum of 40 hours written and 60 hours practicum;
  • an indication of agreement to collect and submit C.E. Credits as required:  42 Continuing Education Credits are required every 3 years to maintain "Approved Reflexology Status".  For more information on CE credits see RABC website.
  • an RABC Approved Practitioner member with all fees fully paid.
  • Pay the RABC Reflexology Teacher Application form (see payment page on RABC website)
  • RABC Guidelines for Application for an RABC Reflexology Teacher (link to Applications and Forms)

Associate

  • a completed RABC membership application;
  • a signed copy of the ASSOCIATION's Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct;
  • a copy of the REFLEXOLOGY Certificate(s) indicating successful completion of the course(s) that includes a minimum of 40 hours classroom instruction, and 60 hours of practicum;
  • has paid the RABC annual membership dues. 

Student

  • a completed RABC membership application;
  • a signed copy of the ASSOCIATION's Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct;
  • If applying to take the RABC PROFICIENCY EXAMINATIONS, complete and submit the RABC Proficiency Examination Application, and
  • submit a copy of the REFLEXOLOGY Certificate(s) indicating successful completion of the course(s) that includes a minimum of 40 hours classroom instruction, and 60 hours of practicum;
  • has paid the RABC annual membership dues. ​
Friends of RABC
  • means a Member who supports the RABC
  • a completed RABC membership application;
  • has paid the RABC annual membership dues. ​​
  • Note:  this Membership Category may not vote at RABC's Annual General Meetings
